FAQ

How do I choose the right size swimming cap for my hair?

We’ve got three different sizes of swimming caps to cover every type of hair: Large, Extra Large (XL), and Extra-Extra Large (XXL).

Sizing up is simple. Just follow these three rules:

1.  If you’ve got long, thick or curly hair past around and past shoulder-length, check out our large SOUL CAP.

2. For long and voluminous hair past your shoulders, including those with dreadlocks, weaves, extensions, braids, locs, afros and more, you’ll need our SOUL CAP XL.

3. And if you’ve got luscious locs (or similar) that go all the way down to your waist or further, you’ll want to take a look at our SOUL CAP XXL.

Not sure which category your hair fits into? Don’t worry – any extra space in our swim caps lies flat against the back of your head, with a snug fit against the hairline. So if you don’t quite fill up the size you choose, you’ll still get a dry and damage-free swim.

How does shipping and delivery work?

All of our orders are sent out the same day by Royal Mail if ordered before 2pm.

If you’re ordering to the UK, that means a first-class delivery that should be in your hands the next day.

Or if you’re living further abroad, we’ll get your new swimming cap out to you by International Standard Delivery, which usually takes 3-5 working days inside Europe and 5-7 working days to the rest of the world.

What if I want to return or exchange my swimming cap? No problem!

We’re so confident that you’ll love your new swim cap that we offer every customer a 90-day money-back guarantee.

Just drop us a message to let us know what we can do better, then send us your cap and we’ll sort you out with a full refund.

If you’d like to exchange your SOUL CAP, contact us and we’ll arrange an exchange.

I have a problem with my order. What should I do?

Don’t fret – just send us a message, then sit back and we’ll make things right.

What’s so special about the SOUL CAP?

We’re glad you asked.

At The Soul Care Shop, we’re absolutely dedicated to the quality of our swimming caps, and we work hard to make sure every cap we send out looks good, feels good and fits right.

We’re also fully committed to making a positive contribution to our communities. That’s why we send a percentage of all our sales to good causes like Women’s Aid. So every time you buy from us, you’re helping to make a difference.

And finally, we believe in our product – and we’re prepared to back it. If you’re not totally happy with your new swim cap, drop us a message and use our 90-day money-back guarantee. It’s watertight (just like our swimming caps).

What are SOUL CAPS made of?

That’s an easy one: 100% premium silicone, every time.

That means all of our swim caps are latex-free, non-toxic and completely skin-friendly.

Better yet, they’re tough as nails, but still stretchy – which is why they’re so perfect for big hair like dreadlocks, weaves and afros.

Where are SOUL CAPS made?

All of our products are designed in-house by our creative team in London.

Once we’ve perfected the design, we let our overseas partners get started on crafting our premium swimming caps.

We spent a lot of time researching to source the best talent for the job, and we found the best balance between quality workmanship and good value in China, with a manufacturer that’s been specialising in silicone fashion-wear for over ten years.

We know that some people worry about where their swimming caps are made. That’s why we only choose suppliers that follow a strict code of conduct – we won’t work with a company unless we know they take their environmental and social responsibilities seriously.
